In July,
Kickanotch Mobile, a mobile marketing services startup based in the outskirts of Kansas City, raised $500K from a bunch of angel investors and was ?incentivized by? the
Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation, a private/public partnership created by the state of Kansas to promote technology-based economic development and support local entrepreneurship. And it seems that they're not the only ones rooting for Kansas startups, as Kickanotch Mobile today announced that it has raised another chunk of outside investment: A $1.1 million series A round led by
42 Ventures of Salt Lake City. The company said that it will use its new funding to expand its sales, marketing, and engineering teams, as well as accelerate the development of new features for its mobile platform.
