Plex Adds Premium "PlexPass" Memberships and a New Video-Streaming Web Interface [Video]

Plex Adds Premium "PlexPass" Memberships and a New Video-Streaming Web InterfacePlex, the awesome, streaming-focused media center, announced today a new $3.99/month "PlexPass" plan, in which users can get advance access to beta features like their fast, video-streaming web interface.

The PlexPass membership not only gets you access to beta features, but you'll also get access to private forums for discussing said features, as well as discounts on upcoming premium features to the app. The first goodie for new signups is the brand new Plex web interface. It's fast, feels like a real app, and streams your movies and TV shows right to your browser, no matter where you are.

For those of you that don't want to sign up for PlexPass, you can still grab the new version of the Plex Media Server today, which contains a number of bug fixes and a few advanced preferences. You can read about all these updates at Plex's trio of blog posts below.
