The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, the agency in charge of the construction of the $6 billion Dulles Rail project, has hired a new accountability officer, attorney Lynn Deavers, the Washington Examiner reported.
U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood made the announcement on Monday. The former officer, Kim Moore, is taking a position with the House transportation committee. Deavers will help speed the pace of ethics and management reforms at the airports authority until Congress appoints a permanent inspector general for the agency.
