OFTC?s PBL Attends National Conference in San Antonio, Texas

Oconee Fall Line Technical College students Jamie Griner and Toni Williams, members of the College?s Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) club, attended the annual PBL National Conference in San Antonio, Texas at the end of June.

Having placed at the state level competition, both Griner and Williams were eligible to compete at the national level during the conference.

Griner competed in Financial Concepts, Williams competed in Network Security, and both competed as a team in Emerging Business Issues.

PBL advisors Belinda Fisher and Beth Duggins were also in attendance at the National Conference to support their students.

Phi Beta Lambda is a non-profit national education association that prepares students for careers in business or business-related fields through teaching leadership, communication, and team building skills.
