Walmart offering HTC Sensation 4G for $148
about 20 hours ago - No comments
One of the hottest upcoming phones to land in the US, the HTC Sensation 4G for T-Mobile , may debut a bit cheaper than what you?ll have to pay up at your local Magenta store through Walmart. Instead of the standard $199 on a new two-year contract, Wally World will be bringing the Sensation 4G to customers for only $148.88. T-Mobile?s next flagship phone brings a sexy design along with a spec-sheet that?s a force to be reckoned with. Featuring a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording capabilities, front-facing camera for video-chat, HSPA+ support, Android 2.3 with Sense 3.0 and much more under its hood. The Sensation 4G can easily go toe to toe with any smartphone today, and likely best it in more than one way. Similar to the upcoming EVO 3D , the Sensation 4G is the handset for customers who don?t need an extra dimension in their phone. While the T-Mobile G2X may be leading the pack at the moment for the carrier, it?s set to be eclipsed by the Sensation 4G and the upcoming MyTouch 4G Slide . This is the year of dual-core processors and the Sensation 4G features one of the fastest yet, even if we are a bit partial to NVIDIA?s offerings. While we?ll likely begin to see the handset drop down its price shortly after the official launch through third-party retailers, shaving off $52 out of the gate is always a good thing. We?re also hearing that the handset could hit Walmart stores before the official June 15th launch, and while nothing is true until its confirmed, it probably wouldn?t hurt to check it out yourself if you have one in your area. There?s plenty to love about the Sensation 4G, and the sweet price of $150 just makes it that much better. Hopefully this turns out to be true, but we can?t say that we?d be surprised judging how Walmart got the screen wrong in the ad above.
